A Cinderella Story was released in 2004 and it’s one of the most popular teen flicks of all time. Hilary Duff stars as Sam, a high school student who goes to great lengths to meet her internet crush. After she’s stood up at the prom, she realizes that Austin (played by Chad Michael Murray) isn’t exactly who he said he was. But what Sam doesn’t know is Austin has a twin brother and it just so happens that his brother is interested in Sam himself.

5. Enchanted (2007)

Enchanted was released in 2007 and it stars Amy Adams as Giselle, a Disney princess who is transported to New York City after her evil stepmother gets rid of her with the help of magic. Giselle has no idea she’s not actually in a cartoon anymore, and she has to learn how to fit into the real world while trying to track down Prince Edward (James Marsden).

6. A Royal Winter (2018)

A Royal Winter was released in 2018 and it stars Holliday Grainger as Marie, a young woman who is given an opportunity of a lifetime when she marries Prince Christopher (Alexander Skarsgård). But after she moves into the palace, Marie realizes she must get used to living a life of royalty and that her new husband is hiding many secrets from her.

7. Pretty Woman (1990)

Pretty Woman was released in 1990 and it stars Julia Roberts as Vivian Ward, a prostitute who agrees to spend time with wealthy businessman Edward Lewis (Richard Gere) in an effort to make some extra cash. But Vivian and Edward soon fall in love, even though their backgrounds are worlds apart.

8. The Prince and Me 2: The Royal Wedding (2007)

The Prince and Me 2: The Royal Wedding was released in 2007 and it stars Luke Mably, Julia Stiles, and James Acheson. It’s the sequel to The Prince and Me and it continues the story of Paige Morgan (Julia Stiles) who is now living in Denmark after she married Eddie (Mably). But when tragedy strikes their friend Bennington College, she must get back into her pre-med studies to graduate.

In my personal opinion Ever After is one of my all-time favorite movies, so I would highly recommend it. The movie reminds me of a modern-day Cinderella story very easily. It is not only about romance but also about a strong woman who finally gets her happy ending. Ever After is the perfect fairy tale for a young girl to watch and learn to one day find her own happily ever after.
